Having grown up fishing the little streams that run through the New Forest, I graduated to fly fishing when I was 12 and have never looked back. I was captured by the grace and elegance of fly casting and the amazing sense of achievement that deceiving a truly wild fish to a well presented fly gives me. I spent 6 years riverkeeping on the Hampshire Avon before training as an osteopath. I now split my time between my clinical work and the river. I love to teach new comers to our sport or help more experienced fishers improve further. The wild places of Great Britain are my passion but have traveled and fished abroad, including Russia and Ireland.I have had articles published in the Angling press, been featured in others and have tied flies for Prince Charles.
